hi, i have noticed that i can get a 10k RPM scsi drive plus the controller for alot less that a raptor hard drive. are these scsi drives as good as the raptors or are they outdated and slow?

the 15,000 RPM are still the fastest ever even in SCSI. they are older and outdated and many ways, and the run very hot, plus most MOBO's i dont think have a built in SCSI adapter (im not sure thought) so you may need to get a controller card for those. in all honesty, i dont think its worth getting them. stick with SATA2
