Secondary Drive wont work, but works when its master drive

What is the make/model of the drive ?

no wierd noises are being made by the harddrive. and i dont think the harddrive is messed up becuase it boots fine on its own as a slave drive. also, its a samsung. thats all i know

ok wow. the hard drive works now. randomly. i booted 2 XP and it worked

if it's a linux only problem you probably need to remount it..
