Default Slave Hardrive

when i start the computer up it says i have 2 hardrives(master & slave)but when i go on my computer the slave isnt there.

Is the slave a new drive ? ... if so have you partitioned and formatted it ?

Assuming you are running XP, it's done by right clicking "my Computer" and selecting "Manage"

Use the "Formatting a Secondary Hard Drive" option
