You mean what is the minimum you would go with? What size HDD do you have now, is it enough space, get the same size.

Ya, that is what I meant, I currently have a 1TB hdd, it is more than enough, I just wanted to use a ssd for windows7 with all updates and diablo 3, and use the hdd as a back up drive. what is the minium size I should go with that will hold both those.

To take advantage of the speed an SSD offers I'd be using a SATA III one. The smallest capacity made of those is, I believe, a 60gb. This'll more than do for your needs.

A Win 7 basic install is around 20gb and after formatting the drive you'll be left with around 54gb. This'll leave around 34gb for anything else. These are rough figures you understand.

But as Win 7 will be loaded on the SSD that'll mean all your temp files and cookies will reside on the SSD so ensure you download crap cleaner to clean them out periodically.

Lastly, considering the cost of SSD's now it will make more sense, on a cost/gb basis, to go for a 128gb drive. These can be found very cheaply now and who's to say you won't want to install some more games in the future onto the SSD. Having that much more capacity will allow you to do exactly that.

    Hope this helps.
