hi there i have a laptop with a "bad" hard drive and only have 2gb left but all i want to do is use my 120gb portable hard drive as a second one to install stuff just like a fixed one. how do i do this?
i have formatted the hard drive as NTFS what next? ( i want to use this on a xp ) |

Plug it in and when installing the game select the external drive instead of C:\.
The game will probably run slow tho' due to the external drive access times. |

Another option is to clean up your main drive, chances are it's full of temp files and junk if it hasn't be done before or recently.

Ah I see, drives are dirt cheap, might be worth upgrading.
