 Vista Cannot Find My Hard Disk

recently i had lost all my contents on the hard drive so i format my whole hard drive using xp cd
all of a sudden when am tryin to install vista i couldn't find my hard disk it said
there were no mass storage drivers
and it gave me an ...

all of a sudden when am tryin to install vista i couldn't find my hard disk it said there were no mass storage drivers and it gave me an option of load drivers what does this mean? is my hard drive dead ? |

Sounds like the hard drive is faulty.

Vista Cannot Find My Hard Disk
If it does show in your BIOS then its down to the way you have formated your drive and in what fat its in NTSC OR FAT32 depening on these and what files are left on the hard drive on how it would start.
