| Hi, I've just realised something rather strange aboutmy vista machine. A floppy drive shows up in my computer, despite there being none connected to the computer! Standard floppy disk controller, and floppy disk drive show up in Device Manager. I've tried uninstalling the drive in Device Manager, but it just comes back. Is there a way to permanantly remove it, or at least hide it in my computer? Thanks, Michael |

| You could try going into the bios and disabling it there
