I recently got a hard drive to compact flash converter for my iPod to conserve power and eliminate hang time between switching songs.

Here is my hard drive:

I have an old 2nd generation iPod, and it uses a 10gb. thin 1.8" toshiba hard drive with pin connecters. I now need to buy an enclosure for the left over hard drive, but have not found many. Almost all the ones I have found are for the ZIF connecter.

I have found this case, and this is my favorite one so far

If anyone knows where I could find a variety of enclosures to fit my type of hard drive, can you please give me a website. I have already checked out amazon.com and newegg, so anywhere besides that is good.

thanks

Dont know if you have already come across it, but Addonics do a series of adaptors, which may open up other possibilities for you, other than an enclosure.
