Will an "Apple" Branded WD Drive Work in a PC?

    ...just wondering because I've seen one on ebay and personally don't have a clue if it'd even be the same connectors, I know it'd need re-formatting to NTFS or FAT32 - does anyone know?

    Defiantly drive would work and you won't be able to read the existing partitions and filesystem without a driver. But if that doesn't matter, just format and it'll work. But If you swapped its internal drive with one from a different manufacturer, Apple's hard drive temperature sensors would stupidly cause the drive-cooling fan to constantly run at top speed.
