I'm not sure how to describe this properly so bear with me. Somehow the read jack for my mic broke. The speaker one still works just the mic doesn't. I am trying to get the front jack to work but the auxiliary pins on the motherboard aren't working right. I plugged the pins for the mic in but I'm not sure if i need to have a jumper on a certain pin or have something else triggered. i have a pc-chips v2.3 motherboard. Any other info needed just let me know.

First of all what chipset does your motherboard have and do you know what specification the FP audio header is its usually Intel HD audio or AC97.
