Ok i took a look at two different sound cards that fit my budget..i have a home studio..and i just need your opinion on which would produce better overall from the following two cards

Creative Sound Blaster X-FI Xtreme Gamer 24BIT Sound Card 7.1 PCI

OR

M-Audio Revolution 7.1 Surround Sound PCI Card 24-bit/96kHz

I'd have the M-Audio all day long.

However the revolution is a pretty basic card, get the Audiophile or Delta range, some are cheaper and they are made for studio stuff.

I had the 192 and they smack it!

for the audiophile..can i connect 1/8" inputs in it..cuz i can't see any inputs on the card..such as a line in, mic in, speaker jack, headphonne jack or anyof that?
