Im looking into buying a sub, ive got a mordaunt short 308 and had a tannoy ts12 im willing to spend up to £500 but il push the boat out if need be, i will use it for playing music and abit of films as ive got the sub connected up to PC, im looking at the bk subs and the svs subs and cant decide between the xls300/pr or the sb12+ mind you the bk is so much cheaper even the monolith is cheaper than the svs sub. basically i cant decide and i really need help?

Are you after one with built in amplification? Or just to add in to an existing setup with amplification provided for it?

built in, soory i should of explained this subwoofer is for a hifi setup so i need an active subwoofer
