i recently built a new comp and everything is working perfect, apart from the sound. Whenever any sound is played every 10s theres a stuttering of the music. any help appreciated, cheers max

does the mouse freeze aswell? or video? if so same problem as me and not yet found a fix

hhmm i thought it was down to vista

ive updated all drivers, even bought new hardware and still it remains

Problem Solved!!!
The problem for some reason was the jmicron raid driver on my ASUS P5K-E so i disabled it using the device manager rebooted and now my audio is back to normal.
