I've been using a Dynex Enhanced Wireless G PCI network card for a while now and it's been working fine. Recently, though, I purchased a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer PCI sound card, and I've been having some trouble.
See, when I install the sound card in the case and turn the computer on, the wireless card stops working--Vista can't find any networks. I've tried reseating both cards and reinstalling the drivers and it's the same each time. Once I remove the sound card, the network card works again. I haven't tried the sound card on its own yet, but when I try to listen to music or play a game with both cards in I get no audio at all. This is a very annoying problem. Help would be much appreciated. Sounds like a classic IRQ conflict.
