I recently built a computer for a friend and i have finally come around trying to install all of the drivers. Unfortuantely the drivers that came with the hardware do not work on vista 64 despite saying so on the disk. The error mentioned in the title comes up. I have updated the mobo to the latest driver (12,10) and still no luck :-(. I believe the name of the audio driver is IDT 9200.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you

You're after the on-board audio driver?

What make and model is the motherboard?
