Default Extra Line Out

I have a Creative SB 5.1 card and its hooked upto surround sound.
Recently i bought an LCD tv and hooked my pc to it, with a very long video cable, as its in the next room. I now want to plug my pc audio into the tv, so i can watch all my downloaded movies on it in HD.

the easy thing to do is to just use my speakers, but the tv is in the next room. so i want to connect a new cable into the sound card that runs to the tv. the available jack i have is Line In. Is there any way that the Line In jack can give a Line Out signal instead?
is there any configuration software to do this?

I might get told to just swap the wires over, depending on which room I am in, but thats difficult to do as the PC is hidden away. I have tried a Y splitter but that just gets rid of my surround sound and only gives audio through the left or right channel.

help much appreciated.

thanks

Ben

Default Extra Line Out

there might be a line out jack on your sound card and you could get one of those cables if not go to an electronics store and buy a headphone spillter plugg it in to ur sound card and plug ur speakers into one end and look for a cable that has 1 of those headphone jacks and a line in cable that u need
