Default HELP please

my granddaughter has a RCA H115 mp3 player and it says file system corrupted. oooookay just pop in the disk that came with it right? .......... she is 13 and has NO idea what she did with it ok we'll just get on RCA's web page. wrong no info there. so....here i am anyone got any ideas?any way to do a restore on a 5gig mp3 player? when i connect it to the computer it won't connect computer does not even detect it.?????????
thanks for ANY ideas anyone can comeup with. i need to get this fixed for her.

Ive done a little bit of research on your device and found something that may help

Apparently you have to hold down the joystick while plugging in the usb chord and everything should work.
