Default Help Please! No Sound

Hello this is my first time posting here.

Anyway onto the matter, today i updated my logitech firmware for my mouse+keyboard. Ever since i have not been able to get any sound AT ALL.
My speakers are fine i've checked them and tried plugging various speakers into my computer yet non-work or headphones.

I have done the general stuff such as go to device management check my sound card etc its all ok.

I am running Windows Vista home premium and my sound card is a
SigmaTel HD audio CODEC

Could anybody please help me? Anybody suggestions are greatfully welcome.

If that doesn't work I'd try rolling back to when it did work, so that you can check its not hardware related, and complete coincidence that it went the same time as you got logitech drivers.
