I recently bought a Redgoove 512mb mp3 player but it came with a disc for Windows 98 and I am on XP Pro, would anyone know where I might be able to find drivers as I can't synchronise Media player 11 to this player or have any other ideas what I can do?
Thanks for the assist in advance:) |

XP should have the drivers automatically and you should be able to copy to the mp3 player via My Computer on your desktop, drag the mp3's manually to the device listed in there.

Thats what I assumed would happen but the mp3 player doesn't appear in My Computer after checking through device manager is shows as there being no drivers for the player and the auto scan doesn't seem to be able to find them, it looks like I may have to roll back my media player to 10 in order to get it working

Did it used to work?
If it isn't showing in device manager or my computer going back to WMP10 will make no difference, WMP is a media player only and contains no drivers. Basically that brand of MP3 player you have is a small chinese manufacturer and have no support. In future get a better known brand for better support. |
