I have a pc that i want to use for dj'ing purposes. I want a sound output for my amp plus a seperate sound output for headphone monitor. I use pcdj red. I have the onboard sound plus a soundblaster card in a pci slot with drivers installed. Pcdj spots the card but not the onboard sound. In control panel in sounds and audio devices i can only change from one to the other, no way of using two at the same time. Is there a way of getting xp pro to use both sound outputs simultainiously?

Does the card have dual output, many do, setup the software for just the one card and use each output for headphone and speakers.

Think i might have to invest in a better card as the one i have only has the three connections, 1x output, 1 x mic and 1 x input. I did read somewhere although i can't remember where that the input could be changed to an output??

Nope, it cannot.

Best bet would be to get a cheap dual output sound blaster card, like £10 from ebuyer.
