| My sound on my Hp desktop has not been working for a few months and its really starting to get to me. It plays absolutly no sounds. nothing at all. my computer is hooked up to a 42" samsung TV and i know it worked on it before, the cables are all ok its not on mute or volume down. I tried using headphones and another set of Dell portable speakers and got nothing, but they all worked on my laptop. I even did a system recovery and it didnt bring the sound back. I have no idea what it could be,,, also i tried updating the drivers. |

| master volume and wave mute or low volume would have been my first port of call, its worth double checking sometimes! go into control panel, sounds & audio devices, audio. are the drop downs for your output greyed out? or are they selected to something different, like bluetooth audio. MCTW |
