I have a Toshiba Qosmio G40 laptop. The sound card is by Realtek I think but on the device manager it say Microsoft.
The driver I copied from the Toshiba basic information panel lists the driver as being: High Definition Audio Device version=6.0.6000.16386 I have installed Adobe Audition onto the laptop and it can record audio input okay its just that I cannot hear it live as it is being inputted. I use to run the software on my pc with no problem. Can someone advise me how to solve this problem? Also I have installed Creative Extigy onto the laptop but it does not list it as one of the devices in 'Device Manager' even when I plug in the usb connection. Help with this problem would be appreciated too. Regards Sean. |

If it is the same as my laptop then the line in and line out do not work at the same time, god knows why. You can however hear what you are recording through the laptop speakers.
