av been meanin to post this for a while now so there go'ss

iv got my headphones plugd into my sound card and on the headphones you can tern the volume up or down...when i tern the volume up when there is NO music playing i can here things like the harddrive spining up as i click on a song... also i here a like crackleing noise..all wires are no were ner power lines so im abit comfused to how to fix this..when im playing a song tho i dont here eney of this...prob music covering it..i wos thinkin of twisting my headphone wires round a magnet round the bk of my tower as that can help cut interfeance..

eney1 els got eney ideas?

well first of all see if the earphones are pluged into the right port (the green one), if it is pluged in right they are probally broken. dont buy stuff from pound land!

ma m8 all plugd in propley and no way is it the headphones.. 2weeks old best you can by aswell there dj pro sound cost me a fer bit too..iv got a round magnet and iv put a few loops round it of the headphone socket and its made abit of a diffrence but still bad..its beond me

wouldnt hurt grabbing a pair of crappy headhpones just to try it though mate

even the best headphones can fault

give it a go mate so we can rule it out

Sounds like an earthing problem, you could try earthing the harddrive to the PSU.

just try'd some other headphones and still the same :(

the earthing is a good point

have to think how i'm goin to do this tho hehe
