I'm looking for something with at least 20GB preferably more so i could hold some videos and pictures on there and with at least 2.5" screen would be great. It has to be durable because accidents happen as I dropped my old player and had no problems with it.

I don't want an iPod because you're just paying for the brand.

I've heard about these cowon players but have no experience with them. My previous player was a zen vision m had it for 18 months before the screen screwed up.

I don't have a set budget as such but top amount i'd be prepared to pay is £200. The most I can get for my money as I want it to last a good two/three years before i have to buy a new one.

Many thanks,

I have an Insignia which is good.

I got my daughter a Sandisk though and like it a whole lot. You might look into those.

This is the one I have Insignia 4GB Bluetooth MP3 Player. I'm not sure if they make a 20GB though.

Sandisk has a very good product also. I like my daughters better than mine. She has one of these. http://www.sansa.com/players/sansa_view

I've seen Sandisk players before and they seem good value. Thanks for the link I will take a look.

Insignia has gotten a little better I think. The reasons I like the Sandisk better is the charger is like a cell phone. http://go.shopsansa.com/content/itrip Clips into the slot instead of the tiny little slot on the Insignia. And the Sandisk has a metal backing on it. It has a very sturdy feel to it.

You can get really cheap 4-8GB Sansas (the non-HDD ones, think they're called the e2 something) for $40 or so here in the US (imagine it's cheap over there too), then throw a 16GB SD card in them and have over 20GB all on flash and for a bargain.

Anything by iriver is good quality, their current flash player model is the Clix up to 8GB, but the B20 will be released this summer, supposedly up to 60GB and with DAB/FM radio.
Plus the usual iriver stuff; customisable themes, album art, standard .swf games.
