ok this is what happened i screwed up my comp so i had to reinstall it then after that i played a game and thats when i found out my sound wasent working i. i have a sound card but how do i fix this problem is it because i have to get a sound card suppoerter but if i do what type are i soppose to get?? i have treid heaps of sound cards i have installed them and read carfully but nithing seems to work so plz computer heros help me out here i really want sound:confu sed::frown :

Have you installed the up to date drivers for the sound cards?

What model of sound card do you have?

Also, it might seem silly but have you checked that it isn't muted....

im so deprest and ok it isnt on mute and how do u check ur driver and there is no little picture on my bottom right of the screen

Don't get depressed as there is probably a solution. Try System Restore first and put the computer back to where it was before it got messed up.
