speakers barely emit any sound.? My microphone works but only one of my speakers work and I can just barely hear and understand what someone is saying only if my ear is next to the speaker. The speakers are powered speakers.

A simple answer maybe, the speaker is dying. Another possibility is maybe the balance is tuned to the other speaker. Doubleclick the speaker ikon next to your clock on the bottom right of the screen and check it there.
