I got a great new mp3 player, it has a rechargeable battery that recharges by plugging it into a computer. The problem is that we aren't taking a computer on holiday with us. Does anyone know if you can get a power plug/portable battery/car charger that charges via usb? There are no other slots in the player for any power supply.

Good that you got the thing which you required. Though you can also look for a USB battery charger. With this, you can also charge your player through 2 AA size batteries. Give it a try.
