I have a hp Pavilion dv5 notebook pc with windows vista home premium. I can't get sound from my hdmi cable to my tv. I've tried going to my
sound properties and switch my default from my speakers device to my hdmi device; but still no sound. :4-dontkno The wierd thing is, I clicked the "test" and there was the sound from hdmi cable and I can hear the test "BEEPS" on my tv. However, I tried to play something on youtube and I can't hear a thing. ahh!!!:upset: Help please its driving me nuts! :jail: |

Ok, try looking for a Sound Manager or whatever, where you can adjust the levels for various different applications.
It may be that you're Internet Browser is muted in these options, yet the Master control, is at an audible level.
