Recently I lost all audio on my pc. My soundblaster x-fi xtreme sound card no longer worked. All the drivers are up to date. My bios is updated. There are no irq conflicts. Obviously all the connections are secure and correct. I have also tried moving the card to other pci slots. The card does work as i have tried it on another pc. The onboard sound does not work. I also did everything to test it as I could the pci sound card. I also tried this with vista and xp. I am absoluted frustated with this problem.Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

this may sound a bit obvious but have you fully checked your sound properties to see if anythings muted?
