Hi, I have Acer laptop Extensa 5610 running XP. Whilst travelling recently in Philippines, I bought a pair of cheap and cheerful USB Min Speakers for approx USD5.00. When connected, there is an intermittent clicking sound. More importantly, now that I'm home, same noise has appeared on my desktop speakers plus some sounds in windows/ Outlook office sound distorted. I have tried all the basic stuff i.e. adjusting speaker/ PC volume plus checked if all devices are working OK and not in conflict. When I first installed speakers, my device manager installed the driver (no CD with speakers) I want to uninstall driver to check if that is the problem but stumped as to how I can find this? Can anyone u help me plse with this problem many thanks Chris

Try the device manager in control panel, plug in your usb speakers then look for them in USB devices, double click them and uninstall the driver.
