| All I hear is static when I turn on my speakers for computer, and I've made sure nothing is muted, what could be causing this?They worked before, what am I doing wrong? My computer is win98 se, tower is an Acer, speakers areMLi699, is there a simple solution I am missing? |

| Make sure there are no other wires crossing you speaker wires.Make sure all the cords are securly in their proper holes. |

| When was the last time that they worked properly?"What are you doing wrong?" - what have you done since they last worked OK?My computer is a brick sitting on a rock with two trash cans for speakers. What am I doing wrong? Nothing. I just have not told you anything that I actually DID! |
