i cannot hear sound from my computer i get an error message saying cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly. my sound device has a yellow exclamation point on idt high definition audio codec and says it cannot start what can i do to fix it

Sounds like you need to install/update the driver.
In Device Manager, right click the sound card and see if it will update from the net, or if you have the driver disk, navigate to that.
