Reduce 8Ohm to 4Ohm I currently use a Pioneer stereo amplifier and a pair of Boston A40's (Replaced speakers with Monacor's) and I'm upgrading to a 5.1 system however the Amplifier I'm looking at outputs 8~16 on 5 channels and 12~16 for the Sub. So somehow I need to take my 8Ohm Impedance and reduce it to 4 before it reaches the speakers.
Thanks for your help, Ollie.

Reason: Ohm sign didn't work.
