| Completely pointless using both, even if you did find a way around it.
The only way it would make any odds is if they made XFire/SLI equivalent for Sound cards, but that would require you two new Sound cards and probably a new motherboard IF it happened.
Which it probably wouldn't because approx 95% home users make do with onboard sound.
And without such a feature, all you'd have is 2 sets of 7.1 Surround, which is ridiculous and wouldn't see you any benefit.
What makes you want them to work together anyway?
