If you want to record to Guitars at once, or any other instrument, get a small mixer, and take its stereo out into your current cards line in. I very much doubt you'll notice the difference between your current built in to an expensive card!
But if you have the money, go for it :-P |

Well, get a sound card like you posted, Im afraid im the wrong person to advise which one, they all look pretty similar to mee! Of course, thats if you don't have something similar already!
Anyway, by a mixer, I mean like a audio Mixer. Ermm, I don't know suppliers in the US, but I'll find a link or two to something similar in the UK. You'll have to get some cables to make it connect to your PC line in tho! Bear in mind, that this may not be the cheapest or simplist way to do this, but having done it myself, I can assure you its effective!!! This, is ideally what you want. Its basically a home mixer, used for up to 2 Mics and 2 1/4 Jack inputs (which include electric guitars) Then from that, you'll need a 2x mono 1/4 cable to 3.5mm stereo jack to link to your PC :-) Post back if you need more detail on this! |
