Hello guys.

I'm sure this question will sound silly for many of you, but anyway... Couple weeks ago i was playing one game on my laptop and at one point pressed Windows button as i wanted to check something in the internet without quitting the game. I was playing in my headphones and there were no problem with sound.

But from that moment my sound completely dissapeared. I mean you can hear everything in headphones, but not on built-in speakers in my PC. I tried to reinstall driver, tried some other solutions i found in the internet, but nothing helped...

In case someone can help me with an answer i will be very appreciated.

Thanks

I assume you have gone into the sound mixer and checked that the speaker isn't muted or its volume turned down?

So some setting that is in effect during the game, and that is removed at a normal termination, has been left behind.

Have you fiddled with running msconfig or with WinPatrol to see what is different? Also try

sfc /scannow
