I cant open your wish list.. anyway, whatever spec of pc you buy today will always have a stereo audio out and output for headphone, some locate them on the front or back, or both. some sound cards built in the computer may have "RCA" type (white&red). Small stereo jack is almost universal.any speaker with a plug that would match any of these outputs will work for you, the speaker you will want to buy totally depend on your sound taste, use, and preference. it could be as simple as a .99 cents headphone or those 27 piece surround b***s**t stuff. just tell the guy where youre buying from that you will need it to have a small stereo jack for plugging it into the "audio out" at the back of the computer/laptop.and if youre worrying about compatibility of speaker and your pc, or pc not matching required specs/software for a particular speaker... computer specs like memory, processor speed, operating system etc doesnt have to do anything with any speaker may it be big or small. but sound quality is defined by what kind of sound card you have and type of speaker you have which is a completely different (and more complicated) topic

Any computer speakers will fit no problem, they all have the same standard fitting.

Well, it all depends. If you get 5.1 surround sound speakers, make sure you have a 5.1 surround sound card..All speakers will work on your computer, though if you want my opinion on good brands, logitech makes some nice ones..

Thats a good point, if you have 2.1 / 4.1 / 5.1 / 6.1 / 7.1 then get speakers to suit.

I do not use PC speakers. I have a really nice set of headphones by sony, cushioned well enough that you could fall asleep with them on your ears if you like!:p

For great sound, I have a cord running to my stereo's auxillary jack directly from the PC via a JV connection. I have a nifty little adapter that lets you plug in two speaker wires into the existing one hole on the PC.

PS. The PC I have this set up on is my Dell, it did not come with speakers of its own.
