can some cards, more expensive cards change stereo sound.

what i mean is if a game etc gives out a stereo sound resulting in only a few (2) speakers working can some better cards manipulate the output to use all speakers,

Ok, when you say all speakers I'll presume you mean either 5.1 or 7.1?

No card will split the sound between all speakers. However, the same sound should be outputted through all speakers, (ie Triple Stereo [5.1] or Quadruple for 7.1) this gives surround sound but isnt optimumly split into each speaker and its range, also this is not incredibly great for the subwoofer, it should be ok, however.

Hope that helps?

Did you listen to me or not?

It doesn't matter what card you have it will only spread the same signal to all speakers if it has been recorded in stereo.
