Default Upgrading soundcard (help?)

That should be fine, you just disable the on-board sound you are currently using and use the new PCI card that will come as your new sound-card.

Upgrading will require you to open your PC and fit a part.

Default Upgrading soundcard (help?)

Its a very good sound card you are looking at mate. It will surely give you an out of the world experience. Very nice sound card, I must say. And as per, opening your PC is concerned, if its troublesome, you can also look for an external sound card. They too come in wide varieties these days. Good Luck.
