hi all, got myself a second hand extreme music sound card had no cd with it. i cant seem to get the modes(entertainment,game,audio) i have got the driver from creative. the sound does not seem to be that good (distorts) i have only got media source and vienna soundfront. can ...

Are you sure the card isn't faulty?

I'd suggest double checking the drivers and reinstalling.

Then apply a codec pace like: Ace Codec Pack - Google it.
