Not a bad price for the spec.
Whether it's a good buy, will depend largely on what you are going to use it for.

Acer have not faired too well on the reliability stakes over recent years, so if you go for it, think about an extended warranty, as repairs on Laptops can be costly.

Check this one out as well, as it's within the the same budget range.

IMO Toshiba are better built, than Acer.

One other thing to consider is .... Windows 7 comes out on 22nd of October and most PCs & Laptops will ship with this, after that date. So check out whether the company you use will give you a free/cheap upgrade to Windows 7, as this runs better than Vista and will be the latest Operating System ;)

According to Toshiba's website, they quote there model as L500D-11R (note the extra D) and this has ATI Radeon™ HD 3200 Graphics, but Tesco quote their model as Toshiba Satellite L500-11R, so this may be a special model made for Tescos.

I cannot be certain, but I seem to recall that this model had ATI Radeon™ HD 3100 Graphics Might be worth a phone call to Tescos, or email to clarify.
