I guess in lucky for what i have but my family is quite well off.
I dropped it at around chin height, was looking for a latch or tape that was keeping it shut, reached for the knife which i had opened the box with and dropped it. Opened the box and saw the damage.

Was quite shocked :P

And as for the E8200, im currently going for a stable ( at least stable for an hour or two ) 6ghz or more.
Borrow my friends water cooling in about a weeks time as this fan cooling won't suffice.

EDIT: I'm just over 6ft tall so it would of been about 5"11 or 5"10 from where i dropped it.
It dropped at a corner. Not flat.

Upwards of 5ghz is definitely possible on 45nm - don't know about 6 but good luck :p

Lol, Yeh I saw that video too!! Quite tempting to do it myself. We have several large containers of Liquid Nitrogen just sitting around the campus I work at. May take a wee parting gift when I leave in a couple months :P
