Hey,

ASUS:
http://www.misco.co.uk/applications/...311039&CatId=0

or

Rizeon:
http://www.rizeon.com/laptops/configurator_s97vgs.php
[But with mods:

Operating System

Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition 64bit

Memory

4GB Dual Channel DDR2 800MHz - 2x2GB

With these changes, it's £724.99 inc VAT.]

To be used for general student-y stuff (MS Office, surfing web [wireless], watching catch-up TV + movies) + playing The Sims 2 and TS3 (when it's released).
Which would you recommend? Are they much different? Any opinions on Rizeon? + Does anyone know whether, if i do go for the Rizeon, if I stuck with the default 1 years warranty could I then renew the warranty before it was up or should I go for a 2-3 year warranty out-right?

Thanks

The ASUS is a much better spec, Core 2 duo against much older Centrino, plus ASUS is a much better brand, build quality and reliability should be leagues above the other unknown brand.

Really?
My laptop advisor recommended the Rizeon over the ASUS but I wanted more opinions.
Perhaps I will get the ASUS instead then, I prefered that more anyway.

Like I said I wouldn't touch the Rizeon, who are they anyway and the ASUS spec is decades beyond it.

I thought they may be some super computer company that only computer nerds knew about xD I've never heard of them. My advisor is American if that makes any difference?
