hello all,

bit of a problem with my laptop, ive had it since christmas, and recently the fan has started spinning really fast, and it starts to get really hot, then eventually the laptop just switches itself off?? any help will be great

When blocked the fan isn't running efficiently, the laptop heats up more so the thermostat tells it to run faster, this also creates more noise. It is crashing because the fan cannot run fast enough to keep it within an operating temperature, the dust is stopping the air ventilation too.
