Personally I would not go with an AMD processor, so that's up to you.

I think the first one had a better graphics card, and an arguably better processor. AMD have been behind for the last few years.

I might well jump on that first one in fact, I'm after a new laptop for my sister and that is better than the one Dell quoted me.

Actually, on second thoughts, the first one is probably better.

The 9300M GS is better than the 8400M. Talking about graphics cards.
