Default Best laptop for games upt to £650.00?

Just require a quick answer if any of you have time please?

I am looking at the Dell Inspiron 1520 with dual core processor, 1gb ram, nVidia®
GeForce™ Go 8600M GT with 256MB DDR2 dedicated graphic memory

Is there a better option?

Many thanks for drawing on your expertise.

Nick.

The 8600 is a better GRFX option than the 8400. for the dells i would make sure the its Core2 not the pentium dual core and upgrade the battery.

Are you buying through the Small business shop or the home one?

I was looking at the home shop.

What do I need to buy through Small Business as I am registered as a Sole Trader for my business?

sometimes the deals are better through the business site.

for example you can get a vostro 1500 1.8 Core2Duo, 1GB ram, 160GB hard drive, and the 256mb 8600GT for 621 inc Vat and Delivery.

yeah, the best deals are through the affiliate or small business section, open source PCs.
employee affiliate laptops offer ubuntu, so you can always go with that if you have a windows laying around. But I hate dell with a passion so despite the deals I'd never buy anything from them for over 250 bucks.

What is it you hate about Dell? the deals look good but maybe there's something I should know.

I had a Toshiba before which was good but now have a Dell which seems more robust. I blew the Toshiba up just by not looking at the back when plugging in the power. it blew the motherboar. At elast the Dell is built so you can't do that.

the customer service, and the lack of options for upgrading components. I got a dell back in 2003 and it's still working, in fact I'm using it right now (desktop), but I'd never go back simply because of the lack of customer service unless you are a business customer. I went with HP when I got my laptop
But that's just my opinion, a lot of people are happy with dell and their CS (mostly business customers)

I've not heard good things about their customer service either.

Bust since when does anyone say anything nice about any company, people like to moan.
