Which color notebook here is the prettiest?
http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&lang Id=-1&categoryId=8198552921644586398&parentCategoryId= 16154

I'm a Freshman in High School. I just got my report card and my dad is getting me a laptop for Christmas around the $700-$900 range. I like the design of this new Sony Vaio CS series, but I can't decide on the color. I'd like to get pink, but this one looks almost like a Barbie computer. I was thinking about simple white or classic black, but I don't know. Definitely not brown. What do you think of red?

PLEASE VOTE!
Pink
Black
White
Red

THANKS! ;)

Your link doesn't work, but I checked them out on NewEgg. The red and the pink are far from subtle, I think the white's the best. I don't see much of a reason to spend $1k or so on a laptop that has a res of 1280 x 800, though, you're paying for a processor that's overpowered for most tasks the laptop would do.

Personally, I'd rather get something like the Samsung NC10 (or another netbook, they all perform and look excellent) that's much more compact and has a longer battery life, especially if you don't want to be stuck near an outlet if you ever use it to take notes or work on stuff there. It'll also be half the weight - backpacks, etc are heavy enough.

I'd probably go with the black one, but be aware that shiny = fingerprints.

Black these days looks best I think, smooth, clean, modern.

Overall it really is down to personal preference.
