| I just recieved my new Dell Inspiron laptop today. As soon as I took it out of the box and turned it on, I knew something was wrong immediatly when it yeilded a bright green screen instead of a black one. I figured it might fix itself after I set up everything, but it didn't. I also thought I could manually fix it somehow, but I couldn't find the option in the Control Panel. The computer's desktop is having the same problem. I was told that this is called "Colourwashing", and I have absolutly no idea how to fix it. Anybody know what to do? Again. its a Dell Inspiron 1721 Laptop computer with a colourwashing problem. Thanks, Steve |

| I'd forget trying to fix it. As you've only received it today it's obviously still under warranty. Anything you may try runs the risk of voiding your warranty. Ring Dell and get a replacement.
