I have recently had a screen replaced on my Loox N500. All ok but it is now asking me for a pass number (4 digit) to access the machine the people who replaced the screen deny any knowledge and the manufacturers say it knows of no such pass number. Could this be a windows password?. every time i try a four digit number it starts counting down from an higher position . I was not sure whether it would of been better to buy a new machine now I know so... Kev. Thanks in advance .

They are probably just about the most common passwords.

After that, theres not much you can do, seeing as they deny any knowledge.
