I've almost decided to buy a Acer Aspire AS6935 lap top. However, I have read numerous reports/reviews saying that 'it is disapointing that resolution is limited to 1,366x768'.
On their website Acer list both resolutions - i'm a bit confused now! Is it 1920 x 1080 or is it 1366 x 768? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Billy |

You can buy it from the store in both versions usually. This particular computer I think only the 1366 x 768 is available in stores where as the 1080p version is able to be purchased online. This computer will output to 1080 to a monitor, or tv or something like that.

If in doubt you could call Acer to really confirm...

I think you will find that the 1366 x 768 pixel resolution refers to the 16" Display of the Laptop, whereas the external resolutions supported by the integrated Intel Graphics supports resolutions as follows :
__________________
• 2048 x 1536: 75/60 Hz • 1920 x 1440: 85/75/60 Hz • 1920 x 1200: 75/60 Hz • 1920 x 1080: 100/85/75/60 Hz • 1600 x 1200: 120/100/85/75/60 Hz So in a nutshell, it should give you external resolutions good enough for Full HD, to most TVs. My System: Home Build
